William H. Bishop, IV


William Bishop Jr. joined Bishop, Dorfman, Kroupa & Bishop, P.C. in August 2010. His practice encompasses a wide range of civil litigation matters, including personal injury, ERISA, probate, and small business matters. He routinely represents individuals and companies in contractual disputes both as a plaintiff and as a defendant. Before joining the firm, Bill was an associate at the Philadelphia office of international law firm Dechert LLP, focusing his practice on private equity mergers and acquisitions as well as capital markets matters.

Bill graduated with honors from the George Washington University Law School in 2008 and was a member of the Public Contracts Law Journal. During law school, he gained experience in pension and ERISA matters working for the Plan Benefits Securities Division of the United States Department of Labor and the law firm of McTigue & Porter LLP in Washington, D.C. Prior to law school, he graduated summa cum laude from Lafayette College.
